blue intended

blue intended is a solo project of multi-instrumentalist Kolja Briesen. The project emerged in 2023 out of admiration for the music of Jeff Buckley, John Mayer, and Elliott Smith. Over the past two years, blue intended explored new musical paths in Regensburg, influenced mainly by post-punk and indie. In 2025 the project returned to its origins and is performed live in a singer-songwriter setting. The songs are marked by catchy melodies as well as doubtful and introspective lyrics.
